finally finished the Rat Pack mural...i really like the way it turned out...took about 5 half days to complete...except they were all spread out...way out...

I've been sick for a while....but i have managed to get a little work done....finishing up a mural project for a church...i was actually finished...but they decided they wanted a little more...i have also been slowly carving away on a sculpture that i started a while back...it's slow going...no energy lately....

all right! we made it through the parade...and it was a success...we won our usual trophy..."Most Unusual Entry"...i guess that means something good...everyone seemed to like it a lot...

well, i sold the lady bug painting today...so that's it for the Chiro Java show...still a busy couple weeks ahead of me...still tryin to finish up the Rat Pack mural...might have another mural comin up...can't wait to get past the fourth of July parade...also trying to finish up a banner for the Guadalupe County Master Gardeners...trying to remind myself not to rush...one step at a time...i have a habit of leaping....

well... the Chiro Java show came down today... the show was a success... guess i won't have to get a real job just yet... busy week ahead... completly blew off my weekend, but i really needed it... guess i will just have to delegate some of my responsibilities... only one painting left from the show and a couple of interested parties... it's the ladybug...

well i think i finally got the WELCOME part of the sign the size i want it to be...but i'm still a day behind on my agenda for the week...wish it wasn't so hot outside...tryin to work on a studio in my back yard...but i can only stand it for about an hour in the evenings...sold another painting today at Chiro Java...it was the octopus...only three left...been thinkin really hard on what to piant for the Magic of Music show comin up...no solid ideas yet...i'm sure it will come to me soon...maybe in a dream...

worked on the sign part of the Rat Pack mural yesterday...it's the welcome to Las Vegas sign...had some issues with the WELCOME part of it today...sizing issues...i'll try to resolve that tomorrow...the Chiro Java show will be coming down on Sunday so if you haven't had a chance to see it, you have until then...

o.k. here it goes...my first blog...well it's been a busy month for me...lots goin on...my art show at Chiro Java was great...sold all but four paintings...the reception on the 5th was a fun time...good friends, o.k. wine and great cheese...i sure do love cheese...recieved over 10 commissions from people seeing the show........a week later was the car show downtown...sold four pieces there...several commissions came of it...recieved an invitation from GEARHEADS car club out of Buda,TX to show my art at their gatherings......the phantom gallery has also attracted quite a bit of attention for me...all of this on top of what i already had on my plate...i need to sprout a few more arms to keep up with it all......this week is dedicated to finishing a mural of the rat pack and working on the 4th of July parade entry for the Seguin Oakwood Art League (SOAL)...one day at a time...
